Week of September 18th

Reminder: Tickets to the Mountains Beyond Mountains event are sold out at Harvard Bookstore but may still be available at the Harvard Box Office or Cambridge Public Libraries (probably best to call before you go over there). Try to get one (or more, for your classmates) if you're interested, I only have a couple to share.

It's been a busy week, being displaced to strange classrooms (thanks for your flexibility), getting our new furniture (hooray), and digging into the literacy narrative genre together. Typically I'll try to post before the fact, instead of behind it. The high level overview of work looks like this ...

Period Four

• Monday: Synthesis question, due Wed.
  
• Tuesday: Finish annotating Frederick Douglass essay and synthesis question (with journal), due Wed.
  
• Wednesday: Read and annotate Welty article; answer question #3 in at least one well-developed paragraph.
  
• Thursday: Revision of one AP practice essay for Monday (unless you need an extension for the religious holiday); vocab unit one due next Tues.
  
• Friday: No class today; have a great weekend!

Period G7

• Monday: No class today.
